Group: a man my wife workes with said he saw the tan and red Suburban that was stolen in Dallas this summer. Are there any Hambers in Pittsburg TX. It was seen driving around still with the teflon covered push bar and scorpion decals on the rear windows. I know this is a long shot but be on the lookout. He was sure of what he saw. If seen just call me, Don Ross at 214-327-7312. Thanks dwrfab Don Ross
Don this is the FIRST I have heard about this - man oh man I am praying you find this truck - first and foremost - if the big fella has a sense of humor then I also pray you get ahold of the nitwits responsible. I'm pullin' for ya!!
Dirty rotten stinking no good lousy lazy *** worthless thieves , I hope they get caught and beat down by a woman cop with PMS
This is the first I've heard about it, but I spend just as much time at the ranch in Mt. Pleasant, Tx. as we do where we call home now in Alexandria, La. and will keep an eye out for it. Post up more pics so we can be sure and we'll retrieve it if seen. Bad thing is it's probably in the hands of the overwhelming Hispanic population around Pittsburg, Tx. that are working for Pilgrim's Pride chicken(Bo Pilgrim). Might even be worth a phone call to the corporate headquarters to security to keep an eye out. Steven.
Be aware there have been thousands of stolen cars re-***led in NM over the last couple years, and sold to unsuspecting people in what "appears" to be a completely legal transaction. All this because the NM MVD hasn't been checking the NCIC database before issuing new ***les. Cars stolen in neighboring states have been laundered here. I'm saying this because the person driving the Sub may not be (most likely isn't) the one who stole it, they could be just as much a victim and out a bunch of money. If you see it, call the cops and do it proper.
AlbuqF-1 is right. This happened in our home town and my friend got his old truck back. The cops searched the truck at a traffic stop and found the true legal registration card. The truck got stolen then a new I.D. then a new owner. If the theif is caught and not a innocent buyer, I'll join in on a HAMB blanket party! I got a truck stolen once.
You guys have got to be kidding .lets say a guy wants a 90 or earlier suburban with at least 200k on it worth less than 2k is going to mn to LAUNDER this truck and sell it lol . that said Don see ya at lunch next week if it turns up i will help go get it. craig
Pittsburg isn't that far from dallas.if you want it back it might be worth the road trip to hang out for a few days. Or maybe e mail some pics to the local police dept. I had a car trailer stolen, and believe me i drove everywhere someone, told me they saw one just like it. And guess what,...........i found it and got it back. Do you think the law enforcement helped ? I did get a call about a week after i recovered it by my local police telling me that they had recovered it, funny thing was is it was sitting in my yard !!!! So i politely told them the story how i had went and hooked up too it and got it back, with no help from them, thank you very much.
Pittsburg is a small town 4,700 people, can't be too hard to find, sounds like i would be setting in a parking lot watching people go to work.
I hope it is really recovered, I met the scorpion guys back in '07 at the round, cl*** act guys, and gave my daughter and I some of the greatest memories she has to date. she got talk to them, and they more than happy to let her sit in and mess around in one of the scorpions. Great group of folks, If I were closer I would certainly be looking out for it too. Will
I am still wondering why the person that spotted it did not follow up on it then. Don if you need to make a road trip let me know Rusty
We were talking about this yesterday . When Sus's trailer was stolen a week later I saw it being towed by the shop already painted . I called sus and followed it. Followed it all the way to there house where Elrusto and me aproached them and got the trailer back . Scarry but it worked .
Hey Don...Cruised the streets of Pittsburg yesterday for about 4 hrs total...No sighting...Have you given the description to the Pittsburg police?????
