Trying to help my dad. He bought a cherry 51 Olds convert last week at Hot August Nights. It was fully restored in the last 90's and the owner recently p***ed away and his family put it up forsale. He was told there was a feature in the Oct '98 Cars & Parts mag (anyone has an extra issue they want to sell). While it was at the auction I guess someone rolled the rear qtr windows down incorrectly (or did while putting up the top?) and broke the rear qtr window casing (its pot metal he says). He needs to replace both sides, anyone know where there might be a parts car in a junk yard or have the parts (52 and other years maybe interchangeable or someone who specializes in 50's Olds. Thanks for any help.... Here's a pic of it..
Try fusick or usa parts supply, ebay the internet in general you can find it if you look hard enough.
yep fusick www.fusick.com Dont know if they would have window surrounds though.. if not they will probably point you in the right direction.
