neat drag car names

    it seems like back in the day race cars had some really smart names.
    like stricknine(409 rat killer),quarter pounder,the ***asin,etc.
    any of you guys remember some of the good ones?
    any pics?

    A friend ran a series of cars named Insanity.

    Cannonball Express - Mike Cannon, '60s corvette M/P. On the hood was painted a rat having enthusiastic carnal relations with a big piece of swiss cheese, and the caption "When you've got them by the balls, their hearts and minds will follow".

  6. A friend of mine had a '55 chevy in Indiana in the 70's called HUSH! named after the old Deep Purple song...the thing was loud as hell and tore up the strip

    There were 2 1961 or 1962 Corvettes in the area when I was in Jr. and early High School.
    Rapid Rabbitt

    There was a 1963 or 64 Corvette fuelie coupe named The Whistle
    A 1962 Chevy Bel Air bubbletop The Buzzard 2
    My favorite Ford was Nate Cohen's Nazy Crate Fairlane.

    Probably, there was a 57 Sedan Delivery that a lady drove at our local track back in the 60's called "Drag Hag".

    A few more I like that ran locally were the "Throttlebender", "Dream Chaser", and "Double Dragon".
