Art & Inspiration Photoshop Request...convince my wife...

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by alteredpilot, Dec 27, 2008.

  1. so last night we're sitting around the TV waxing nostalgic and watching footage from Lions when my wife says... "screw it! we're finishing the car this year" she's ready to go in for finish paint and body...

now we both like the 59 era customs and our interior is black and red so we decided on Either solid gloss black with trim or two-tone black & red with trim. i showed her a pic of watson's grape vine in its first incarnation and the hirohata merc, but she said "i need to see it"

    so here's my humble request...

would anyone mind photoshopping a paint job on my 52??

maybe with buick side trim or even 53 pontiac trim?? go krazee!

I would be ever so grateful!

    thanks....

    it looks good now

  4. thanks, me too, but there's some bodywork that needs redone and we both want to come in with gloss paint and a little less dramatic red...

i wouldnt mind rethinking the same scallop treatment in a deeper red...

Yeah it looks fantastic as it is. I'd maybe drop the front a little, I always think lake pipes look much better on a car if it sits reasonably level. You could still have a bit of a taildraggin' stance, but just not so severe. I'd maybe have the grille chromed too, but other than that I wouldn't change a thing.

I think you have a problem here... The car is finished! ;)

Although, besides the small things mentioned, you could do a small topchop and perhaps slant the b-column forward a little.

I would lower it a bit and drive it. Looks great!
