DAM, how did that happen? I talked to him Friday night for an hour and a half, everything just like normal. I type with blurry eyes, I will miss Dave, he was like a brother. Met him on a street corner in Adelaid Australia, we've been buddies since. We have welded together, ***embled together, traveled together, cruized together, and now we wont. How final. I'll be there this week.

I am shocked and so sorry ... I spent the evening with your mom & dad not to long ago, we had a great time. We all share a common thread with Dools .. the love of grease and gasoline. I am stunned. Dooley will be missed ... he is where the salt is hard and dry, gasoline is cheap, parts are always avaliable and everyone is having fun.
Well spoken. I don't know how it is that I can miss someone I never met. I know some who knew him well and I know they are very saddened. Many people loved him and enjoyed his company. I will add my voice to the many others who have expressed their condolences. And, I will join the others in prayer for him. However, keep in mind that I am not a very good Christian, but I'm a helluva lot better person than I used to be.

Sarah, I`m with Rusty on this. Your Dad was very cool to me from the time I was a know-it-all snot nose punk building plastic cars in the model club until present day. Now I`m a know-very-little grown up punk s l o w l y building real cars and when I hear that a great friend and influence like your Dad has past on I have to ask myself why I keep doing it. It just wont be the same going to a show, a meet, the drags or anything else without ol Dooley there. I guess I`ll always keep building for the love of the sport because I know thats why Dave did it.
