Savannah Georgia, where to go?

Going to be in Savannah the next week or so, any good junkyards or Garages to check out in the area?

Torr, I lived there for a couple of years about 10 years ago. I never saw a junkyard and not much in the way of old cars in peoples yards. I did find some pretty decent music down by the river. Wayno

I was there last May and it was great just walking around town and down on the wharves checking out the history of the place.Had a few cold beers and just soaked up the atmosphere.
We went to the Crab Shack for dinner one night and that is a great experience.

You can also get a trolley around town to view the historical places and the driver does the commentary.

Sometimes it isn't always about the cars!!
(I was with my wife and 2 non car friends)

 

Hit river street! I was there in the mid 80's in the Army and I saw alot of old cars in the yards but you had to get off the beatin path to find them. Head south towards Hinesville on 95 (I think) and there are some junk yards that way.
