i only caught the end of a show on speed, pretty sure it was Pinks. there was a chrysler full size car from the 60's painted like a WWII bomber, black with rivits along the seams. my interest in the car is that it had the nose art of the B-24 my uncle flew in WWII in the south pacific in the 528th . i think it mention the car was from Iowa. anyone know of the car or pictures of it ? would like to know if the owner picked the picture from a book or if he had a relative in the bomber group
Mate I wish you luck with that, its pretty cool and maybe without knowing it they built a great memorial to your uncle! Doc.
Or maybe it is Backseat Betty. You didn't specify the year of the vehicle, so I am trying a few different cars. Ryan did a story about Backseat Betty... http://www.jalopyjournal.com/?p=934
It's a 67 Dodge Coronet , I remember seeing it on Ebay right after the show 1st was on . I'll look for some pictures of it on the web
****, I thought I would never find it! Here is the car you are looking for... http://flickr.com/photos/splattergraphics/2490727841/ Now the question is, who owns it?
