Identify please-DeSoto?

    I have asked my dad who grew up in the era, and he thinks late 40s-early 50s, but that is as close as I have gotten. Google searches haven't turned up anything for me. Anyone care to chime in?

    That is a hell of a lot closer than what I was finding! Oh well, the old man hit two out of three-38 Ford and 47 Chevy were the others. I just don't know this era at all.

    Yup, '41 Dodge....DeSoto had vertical tail lights that were flush with the body, not add on torpedoes atop the fenders

    I find the curved back gl*** and flat screens on these mopars fascinating, I remember a pic in a mag of a 41 or 2 imperial limo with a curved screen. Those huge decks were naturals for ute-ification.
