Thanks a lot. Here's some better pics of the seats. They come from Speedway Motors. The good thing about them is that the upholstery just snaps on so if they get screwed up it's an easy fix, about $109.99 each for the covers. pigpen

Excellent paint, especially from a spray can(s). Did you REALLY use rattle cans? WOW!!
Besides that compliment, your T is EXACTLY what I am collecting bits and pieces to put together. Flathead and all. As soon as I finish my 39 (if I ever do really finish), it's "T Time".
So, besides a nice paint job, the car is PERFECT!! Nice job.

Thanks a lot. Yep, I really used rattle cans. Like you, I collected bits and pieces for the T for about ten years. I also had to finish a '41 Tudor first. The T came together fairly fast once I got started. I tried to do it like I wanted to when I was 16, in much the same way I would have done then, if I had had enough money for more than just one spray can.:D

  14. Hi Rich. The Olds is coming along S-L-O-W-L-Y. I had my heart rebuilt and it's working really good. My ribs, however hurt like hell. So, getting up and down from under the car is difficult. Making for the slow progress. I have a bunch of new parts for it, so this year should be productive. One hopes... I'm hoping to make the LRU next year. Maybe in the Olds, maybe in my camper. And then, a visit to you and my old pal, Sal, who lives in Tejas nowadays. My wife joins me in retirement in March. Then, LOOK OUT!

  15. Great job, the paint looks great. The whole car has a good look. Lot's of work, now enjoy it.

I don't where you live in this great state, but Jesse in S.A. can get you a 27 plate. No stupid rules. Your hot rod is way cool & I'm sure you'll great time cruzin' in it. There's nothing like a roadster !

There are driving restrictions on the antique plates in Texas. You can legally drive only to shows, functions, repair shops, etc. Granted, the Man won't usually bother you but there's one cop in town they call "Scary Mary", who is reputed to have given her own mother a ticket. Tickets around here start out at around two hundred bucks. $200 could buy enough spray paint to put Grabowski flames on the roadster cowl, and then some! :D pigpen
