I am looking at buying a '33 Plymouth Coupe body that needs some big tlc.

I was looking for repair panels and was pointed to Riley Reproductions but it would seem they are no longer as their site is down.

Can anyone recommend a good supplier of repro panels..... at first glance it looks like the key areas I need are both sills and the boot floor.

    Any help or pointers appreciated.

Riley is the only one I know of. Not the greatest panels if your a picky bodyman. The only panels I have seen made are cowl bottom, rocker, and quarter patch. The plymouth doctor has cowl, rocker, door bottom, and cab corners for the truck. I have a couple coupes that are completely cut apart(not by me)for this exact reason. My opinion if you can't make stuff yourself or afford to pay some one else then buy a Ford.

Thanks guys, if I am unable to get the panels needed I am more than happy to make them, I will just need the correct measurements etc.

Sadly over here in the UK there are not a great deal of metal bodies left/available and I would love to save this rather than go the fibreglass route :D

FYI - The Riley site is back up and running.

Phew, I need to send him a few pics of the body so he can confirm his panels cover the areas I need.

    Thanks

Is PlyDo out of business? They used to have some body panels.

  9. I hope not. I'm planning on buying some parts from them, hopefuly come summer. Last time I talkd to the man there he said they were working on reproducing a steel trunk lid I need badly. But, that's been some tme ago.

Yes he died and no one in the family had any interest in continuing the buisness. He was a great guy to deal with but all of his parts were full price. I heard a rumor but don't know if its true that Dodge City Trucks bought his inventory.
