  6. Hey Nick where,s it gone ? I haven,t seen it down here for a while.
I thought about buying it last year and putting my Hemi in it. I,ve drooled over this thing for over 20 years.[/quote]
Hi Garry, that would have worked. The next look, for me, was going to be graffitti style, but hey?Seems the number plate was sold so it might be hard to recognise now

I love this car. Any rear shots? I love the front nerf bar and was wondering what you did in the back.

Could we include mid-late 50's in this thread as well? Thats the era I'm going for with my coupe, but don't really feel I need to start a new thread, you know, save some space and all that jazz :)

any idea on how low I can get a 29 coupe, and still keep the fenders on? I've got a guy who wants me to box his frame and lower his car. probably chop the top and put a 302 in it along w/full paint too, But I was tryin to get ideas on how low we can go. Thanks

you could go a couple ways.... flat crossmember and a posie 2" lower spring with a 4" axle....a stock crossmember with a 2" lower spring with a couple leaves removed and a 4" axle , or a 5" axle , 2" spring and stock crossmember ....any of those should get ya almost touching the fenders:D might want to remember to trim on the fender braces....and c notch the frame and get some 145's......... brandon :D

mike zenor's coupe is really nice.....nice example of late fifties little pages rod and custom in one tight package. I can picture everything chrome up under even the rear end housing.

LIVE WIRE is a nice example of east coast "PURE HOT ROD" from that era. kinda looks outa place out WEST with all does roadsters an highbloys. er ha ha

thanks Brandon, that should get me in the ballpark. I'd just rip the fenders off myself but this fella want's to go a different direction. Customers always right.
