Outstanding, the photography is amazing. I'd take a day of this over any car show, would have loved to have been there. Gary

Thanks for the link. Nice to see so many old planes so lovingly restored and still in action. The pictures of the re-enactment with the tanks and M2s were cool too!

Great pix, all that is missing is a audio track for the P38 p***es. I've seen and heard many a P-38 ,just about the sweetest sound ever.

Thanks for the post . ........Jack

That was fun. It's easy to see how those planes have inspired a lot of hot rodders.

The perfect airplane to go with this car build, The "RUNAMUCKA", a P-40 inspired car to honor the Men and Women who serve our country in the Military. Complete with a 12 cylinder Jag engine!

    Check it out,

Thank you for sharing that website. I would give my right arm to go see that in person. I cannot imagine how cool that must have sounded.

I'm lucky enough to live twenty minutes from there. Anytime anyones in the L.A. area for GNRS, or Mooneyes, or the drags at pomona, I strongly suggest taking a detour to see this museum. You will not be disappointed. And let me know, cause I wanna go too :) none of my friends are into that sort of thing...
