    Nice ride keep it forever within the family.My vote is an old set of Ansen slots 8" in the rear with 6" front runners, duals exiting in front of the rear wheels!
     
  2. Widened steelies look good on those cars. I've had 5 or 6, got one now. I loves me a '57 Custom or Custom 300. Of course, my vote goes to vintage "mags" up front with widened steelies out back...

    That is what I would suggest also. It would look bad ass. Even though the car already looking sweet. I am sure its a blast to drive

    Yup. Its impossible for me to see a 57 Ford without thinking 'Thunder Road'... But I watch the movie a couple of times a year, too.

    Does any one know what spindles to use for disc brakes on the front?Any drop spindles made?

    My #1 favorite 50's Ford... right there......
    put steel factory rims and dog dish 57 Ford caps and man..... boil the hides.

    thats killer sir.

    Here are a few more pics I found the two colored pics are from 1990 the black and white was back in 1968 at our home town track Mel Larsons now known as SpeedWorld Dragstrip.

  18. Granada brakes offer about a 2 inch drop without cutting springs. All you need to do to bolt on is taper ream the bottom ball joint hole, I think it is a 7* taper, I would have to check my records to be sure...Otherwise, easy swap.
