    the Originator of the "real" Dagmars...in case you youngsters were wonderin' about why the chrome versions were called "Dagmars"...now you know. Just a little continuing education....:D

    Dagmar is also the name of a car built nearly a hundred years ago in my hometown of Hagerstown Maryland. The name Dagmar is still seen around of large historic buildings downtown. Who knew?

    Oooooh La-la! Wasn't it the '57 Chevies when the dagmars on cars became a bit less pointy, then by 59 or 60 they were gone from the cars, almost same as the tailfins. Anybody recollect them on newer cars?
