Hi All, Saw your piece on the speed channel a few weeks ago, some very cool rides at your "pileup". I'm in the middle of rodding a 36 chevy pickup with dropped front axle, small block chevy and turbo 350 trans. I'll be searching all your threads first, then I'm sure I'll have some questions. Thanks, Will
I too have a '36 low cab, is that what you have? Mine is in dry storage till I get other things out of the way, so I'm still undecided about the direction. Be sure to post your progress, and welcome aboard!
I am running fenders and it is a locab. It took me a while to decide what to do with the truck. It will be mostly stock looking from the outside, all new drivetrain and brake system, but lowered. The biggest issue is how to lower the front leaf springs. I've installed a 6" dropped axle, but still not low enough. Looking into reverse eye springs. Will
Welcome... I had a 36 chevy truck in the mid 70s with a small block. was'nt much to look at but it would smoke the hell out of the 10 inch tires. sure do miss that truck and the tires. I believe they made an early and late version of the 36 truck the later version had less wood. I know the 37 cab did'nt have much wood...ghost
