It's a Bonneville actually. With a ton of badgering from lownslow, and a little push from low64 and Von Franco, I got a not so little somethin' somethin' that I don't have room for. I bought it from lownrusty (many thanks man). And this thing is neither low...nor rusty. I flew into San Fran yesterday and cruised to LA last night. It ran like a champ. It looked really good on the shoulder of the 5 after running outta gas. Stupid, Stupid, Stupid!!! I coulda swore it said a quarter tank...my bad. I can't wait to get crackin' on this beast and make it a mild 60's custom. Getting it in the weeds will come first. Then chrome, bellflowers(?) flaked top by lownslow (undecided on color), buckets up front, and new interior with floating console. Dash will match the top of course. All in due time.

Paul threw in a bunch of coll items too. Like the original registration, door tag thats still in the owners guide, original bill of sale, and a pretty pristine full line brochure from 64. Thanks to everyone who held...you all ****!!!

Oh...and here are a couple of pics.

You're a lucky guy. That's one nice Pontiac. The 60-64's were the last big Pontiacs that didn't go too far.

One of the best 60's bodies, in my mind at least. I like a big trunk.

Yeah...14 ******s. I shoved Donnie and 13 others back there and they were still pretty comfy. Donnie said he'd hop in if he could flake it, and it was an offer I couldn't refuse.

He hounded me for 2 weeks, several times a day about getting this car. And that was after a week each on two other cars. I thought he might pipe down after getting this thing home...but not so much. But I guess if it weren't for him I wouldn't have it at all.

Rob, just leave the keys to your 53 in my mailbox whey you come get the six fo!

Lots of info and parts connects for these cars at www.cl***icalpontiac.com...the guys over there call these big '60s cars "Darksiders", so do a search on that and you'll find plenty of tips and tricks in addition to parts connections. Post your score there and you'll make some friends real quick!

JimA. Johnny Big liiks as good as a 6'4" 300 pounder can shoved in a timy little thing like that. You gotta ask him about his haircut, it's too damn funny.

Scotch. Thaks a ton. Those sites will come in quite handy.

Stick. First you tell me to paint it mint...then you ask me to come over and help on your car??? Sounds fishy. When do you need me there. I got to get on that book thing and maybe have some printed by Paso. [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]
