Flathead Generator to Alternator

    I have looked around for a alternator for my 48 flathead that looks the same as a generator. The closest thing that I have found is the one from Powermaster, but it does not allow me to run the stock radiator fan that should be mounted to the pulley. Do you know of anyone that can put alternator internals into a generator so the case and pulley remains original?

    It's been done before - someone did it here a few years ago - search should turn it up.

    That was a good read. I wish there was a company that sold them ready to go. That looked quite involved.
