Nice stuff so far this week, some cool gassers. Here is a 32 I've been hacking at for a while. It's a little further along than this but the pic shows the stance the best of the ones I've taken.

and the real cloth top for it.

  9. Some nice builds, Fat50, it looks like that spit would be a Mk5, three bladed prop, short nose for the early single stage supercharged Merlin 45/46, rounder horizontal stabilizer and the Hispano cannon blisters. Does it have twin radiators, one under each wing or one radiator and one oil cooler under the other?
It also appears that there is no tread on the tires, that makes it an early Mk5b.
    Hmm, airplane nerds.

Those plans would make a nice tech post. I'd like to see 'em. I want to build a brake for my garage.

A good friend and model car nut built this copy of my coupe for me... He used the right paint code, lengthened the frame proportionately, dressed up the motor exactly, and even had to hand make stuff like exhaust lakes headers, exhaust pipes ,front fenders ( they are made from a spare tire band off of 35 ford just like mine with the bead down the middle) etc, etc, Heck, he even used a steering whell from a 62 impala to match mine.. I cant thank him enough..

  16. I used to love putting models together when I was younger. Now that I'm 38 I still want to dig all my old models back out but I think that I will wait until my step daughters little boy (2 1/2 yrs old) gets alittle older so I can get him involved also. Still have a huge cabinet of parts that I had give my nephew when he was younger. That will be passed down to the little guy soon. Keep up the good work guys!!

Not sure if I ever posted these before but they are some of my lastest. I just got done trying the Future floor wax on the chopped 49. This thing has given me a lot of problems and this was the last thing to try before stripping and redoing. The Ranchero is a original issue. It was suppose to be a quickie but ended up taking longer than I thought, just like the 49. LOL

Here is my first contribution. Another Willys, this being the Stone, Woods and Cook version, and my girlfriend's (camargma) banger for her Model A RPU. Both are kits that we picked up to fight off the winter this weekend.

Hey kustom kreep tell your son he did a great job. The hobby needs more youngsters in this hobby to keep it alive. Hope he has some more models so we can see more in the future. :)
