I got her done at 11 pm Pacific time. Fired her up and ran her around the block. I have a couple problems to fine tune. 1966 283, T-5 trans, vega steering, open headers...My neighbors love me....

We kept saying we were about an hour away from running her till 11 PM. Then, it was time to try her out. I have a few adjustmenmts to make. I even drove by True's house but all the lights were out. I will get some more pics up today. The car tracked straight, ran good, smoked some, trans whined a little....etc It's a hot rod built from others spare and tossed parts. Thanks, to all those that have helped me out.... EVILT

Thanks Dirty31, Rolling it out in the dark for it's first run was a little nerve racking. It's a great feeling starting up something you have built and taking it out the first time. I have built several cars and motorcycles from parts and swapmeets and everytime it is exciting to run down the street on it's virgin run. When you pull back in the driveway you have this sense of relief. Then, like any other car nut.....You think, hmmmm Does anybody have a FORDOR project for sale close to California... I need something to build...EVILT
