I did some work to the truck today:D For those of you that don't like the truck or the direction I am taking it, Keep your negative comments to your self! I am not asking for opinions, just showing what I have done! All that matters is that "I like it"!! All others are welcome to comment, or not:D

lovin' the interior! i was planning on doing the entire interior on my '54 ('52) chevy 4100 in sheet steel, so what you have is looking promising to me. i also like the square tube floor. makes me think about cutting the entire floor (well whats left of it) out and doing something like that...

Very cool Tom. I remember the cold day in March a couple of years ago when I found that Farmall gas tank at the Lincoln, NE swap meet. I knew it would be cool on someone's hot rod. Glad you got it.

I'm lovin the truck man. I dig the Oldsmobile grill section for your rear bumper, I may have to use that idea on my 46 chevy truck. Good job.

Thanks, the way I am doing it is time consuming but it is turning out pretty good. The square tub floor is pretty simple, but filling it in takes FOREVER:eek:

Yea I like the grill bar too and the 49 Ford tail lights didn't take long to get to fit, they were just a little too big.

Thanks, No Mac's rats stuff here. I did buy the friction shocks from another HAMB'er but I built the rest!

That's very cool! I love your idea for the rear bumper. I'm building a 41 Int. and am also working on a spring ride. I'm a newby around here and am glad to share in the excitment.

That's cool as hell! I don't care if some of the 'purists' don't like it. Finish it up and drive the snot outta that thing! There's some great ingenuity throughout that whole build. I'd be proud to haul *** around town in that!

More progress on the floor, also cut some wood to go on top of it! I threw the Dash back up there that Chadillac striped for me.

    Thanks!
Since Its not channeled but about 2" I figured adding 3/4" wouldn't hurt anything. I will still have to make stands for the seats 2" rear 4" front. Going to paint the floor dark green like the Dash.

I think it would be cool to just urethane the hell out of that wood and leave it natural looking. Just my .02

Yea, That is what I am going to do, I meant I was going to paint the Metal part Green, leaving the wood natural color.

That would be cool. Kind of a vintage boat look. I remember a boat called the yellow jacket that looked like your floors.

Hope to have it ready for paint in the next couple of weeks. Chadillac is supposed to pull some more lines on the door panels if I ever get them painted!
