I've been wanting to do one with a tradtional flare but I just haven't found the time and energy to do another one. When I do I'll probably use alot of the photos KIRK! took in the Good Guys Gazette.

Denise, When you did the chairs, did you modge podge underneath AND over the top of the photos prior to the urethane?? Or just underneath the photos to secure them?

Let's see, Strong coffee, check. Big pile of magazines and calenders, check. Deco Paughe (sp), check. Cold Livonia winter evening, check. Add a background in s****booking and look what ya get. I'm never disappointed when I click on one of your threads, Denise. This is another good 'un.

I'll fill ya in on alittle secret......all of those besides the rocker were found curbside on trash day.:D

Also, if you have a kid that like comic books, a themed chair in a kids room made out of comic books would be cool as well.

I've never met hotrodladycrusr, but I've read all of her posts with great interest. I hope to meet her at an event someday. From what I can tell, she's got the same great at***ude, creativity and cooking skills as my fiance, so it's WAY BEYOND me why somebody here doesn't marry this woman!!!!!!

Excellent project, Denise. Thanks for sharing this AND everything else you've ever posted.
