It's my first time posting here. My name is Jeff Schmitz. Bill Fox (injectedA) was one of my best friends. It's with extreme regret that I'm posting here to tell you all of his p***ing. He was having abdominal pain for a number of weeks. He was seeking help for the problem. Unfortunately, it didn't come in time. He pasted away unexpectedly, on the morning of Saturday January 3, between midnight and 3 a.m. He was only 47 years old. Bill used to love this board. He talked about it often. He was the consumate gearhead (As am I). My friends, and I, had been helping him build his '55 Pontiac 2-door wagon for years. It was just recently driveable. I'm so glad he got to tear down the street, in it, a few times. This board brought him a lot of joy. For that, I thank you all very much. R.I.P. my good friend.
Man, I did not want to hear this. My thoughts and condolences. Bill was a longtime member here. He and I even talked on the phone a few times. He will be missed
Sorry to hear the bad news, I always liked to see the progress he was making on his 55. RIP Bill and condolences to the Fox family and friends.
Oh man.....I'm really sorry to hear that.. Bill send me the wheels off his 56 Pontiac to put on my old 41 Pontiac coupe...wouldn't take a dime for them, not even shipping. Sad day indeed...
so sorry to hear that. i liked that guy alot. loved his model A build. he was nice enough, one time, to p*** on a great deal on a model A bed we were both eye balling on Ebay so that i could have it for my build. i did'nt ask him to and i know it probably ate at him to p*** up such a great deal for someone he did'nt realy know (in real life). that kind of selflessness showed me right away what a cl*** act this guy was. a damn shame. truly sorry to hear of his p***ing.
Dang...Bill was a good dude. I sold him a Hilborn injector hat a while back and he was a pleasure to deal with. My condolences.
Man does this ****....he was a great guy. He sent me some window garnish trim for my model A truck once and absolutely flat out refused money for them and on top of that refused for me to cover the shipping!!!! It was from this point forward I watched his posts and could tell he was just a good all around guy. I loved the fact that he picked up the 55 Pontiac wagon and was hoping he would need some part for it so I could return the favor. I'm absolutely bummed, condolences to his family and I'm sure MANY friends.
Delt with Bill a couple of times, stand up guy for sure. Very sorry to hear of someone that young leaving us. My prayers and sympathy for the Fox family and friends.
