Hi all I've been lurking here for a while now, figured its time to introduce myself. Quite the forum, lot of knowledge, and some of the work being done -- WOW! Anyway, I've been fooling with cars for awhile now, when life doesn't get in the way. I'm slowly putting together a 46 Chev truck (started as 2-3 ton, will be half ton) with 330 Desoto hemi, and also working on 51 Ford F-1 (planning 440 Mopar power), plus gathering parts for a 55 Studebaker loboy (348 Chev W motor), and WOW there's an adapter available to put the f-head from the F-1 into my Ford 8N tractor! And if I didn't have to work for a living, and had no bills to pay, (reminder -- buy lottery tickets) I might have time to get all this done. Oh well, I'm having fun, and that's what matters to me. 3. robj. Welcome to the zoo. A '55 Stude with a 348. Sounds like something I would attempt. Had a '61 bubble top with a W motor when I was in high school a couple of centuries ago. But now its time for really fun toys.
