Whats up guys. My name is Tim and I am a Chevy O holic. I just finished work on my 67 GMC flatbed ol skool project and and about to tie into our 58 GMC shorty fleetside. Just wanted to introduce myself to start out with

Now, does anyone know of a relatively easy frame swap for this 58? I have heard of an S10 being a good one for the 48-54, but haven't heard much about the 55-59's. Any idears?

Duuuuuude.....don't be a Bogart. Pass that bag 'O M & M's this way. What's yer state (ya live) not yer mind. Nova clip's are popular with these truck's. Search the HAMB, seek and ye shall find.....

I'm from Manitoba Canada. It already has a 73 Nova front clip grafted to it...but I've been told it may not have been done properly. I really don't want to frame off as it opens up a whole other world of problems usually. I'm in need of some front fenders for the thing to even be legal to drive at this point. It hasn't even been started yet...just looking for advise on frame swapping if the need arises.

    A '58 is as WIDE as hell. I have a '58 Apache out in the front lot......AND I have a '91 S-10 out there.

I don't see the two mating any time soon. [IMG]

Go real ol' skool and put the straight axle back under it. Its more simple and pleasing to the eye. IMHO...

    Welcome to the board.

Just kidding, but I did get a free drink out of the bartender in the Unwinder for wearing my Melville Millionaires jersey into the bar back in 1995. Welcome to the HAMB, buddy. Enjoy yerself!
