and bought this..... My wife thinks I'm crazy, but I missed having a 350 and 4 speed. It needs some work, but is fairly rust free. The quality of work is a little scary. The upside-down bumper for example. Really sloppy welds on the rockers. But, it's solid enough to drive for awhile before I have to tear it apart, and the bill collectors are happy with the leftover money. First thing I need to do is rebuild the sloppy front end and steering. Then, find better wheels. Can the steering box be adjusted?
DAM brother!.....i hope you got a crap load for the Porsche, and the truck stinkin cheap!!! Otherwise ....i smell an intervention!!!!!
You know that those white letter tires and alum slots just scream Florida. I'll take a better look at it on Saturday. See ya then.
Yeah, I realized later the bumper isn't upside-down just not sitting right. The car was a '68 912. A great car, but I was almost scared to drive it because of the cost of parts. A 1/2 floor patch panel is about $300. I bought it not running and fixed it. Almost doubled my money. I got the truck, paid some bills, and kept some in case they total my wife's car due to hurricane damage, and we have to replace it.
Good swap, get some matching front slotted rims and leave the black wall out on the tires what is it a 64?gotta be at least a 60-64 as it has the big front windshield and dig this site,i'm sure you'll find shit ya need for it off here www.6066gmctrucks.org
