How's it going Bigdaddy? Mine was actually built in the late 50's here in the NW. I found it in a barn all cut apart. It was flame welded and channeled 7 in" on a stock frame that ran a flathead. I fixed the chop and built a new frame, floor, and a lot of rust repair but it's close to it's original hot rod build. Take it easy.

  6. Yep... That's Dan Collins' car. He's standing under the umbrella. I took that pic at the Antique Nats.

thats my car, I bought the body and frame from some kid who worked at a dodge dealership in OC, he might have started some work on it but I bought it as a pile, and Nick O Teen and I built the car. The chop had to be redone, and most of the ch***is work was s****ped and redone. The engine is a 1959 ford 352 FE police interceptor, came out of my ranchero. Has a cruisomatic behind it. got it running 5am the same day we left for paso. Dont kow who told you someone else built it and I bought it though(BS). It had ford wires on it in paso.

I started a new post with more pics of the car, oh yeah, we also had to repair the lower 4 or 5 inches of the body, it was all rusted out. the previous owner had hacked up the frame pretty good too, I just had a lot of spare parts lying around so I thought it would be a fun car to use them on, it was supposed to sit a little higher in back, but it settled more than we thought it would on the drive up to paso.

Hey Dan, almost sounds like we had the same car to start with except somebody wanted to do a poor boy section and cut off the bottom 3 inches of mine and I put it back on.
