If you want to do something horizontal out of the grill, look at a Peterbuilt 359 or 379 truck set-up. There pollished aluminum and would kind of fly with the big lights you have.

Scooter, You post *****! You show one ****ty pic of your front end and get 4 pages in 8 hours. Unbelievable!

I knew your car had a bad side, the way you only showed us the back. Serves you right for showing off that kick *** buck for your fuel can.

What about those new shots on your myspace page? You gonna break those out next? I figured as much...

Oh, just stick some frame horns on and do it like everyone else.

    ;)

I wanted my headlights to sit low so I made some, ordered the cups from Pete and Jakes and made the rest. Mine mount on the side of the frame.

Swan neck mirror? Those ones for pickups that mount to the door hinge pin and have about a 10 inch long neck with sort of a tapered 's' curve to them. Visible but not too bulky supplement to stabilize the less visible but primary mounting through the shell to the core support. Kinda triangulate it. And being tapered it would avoid the plain round tubing look.
    Just thinkin' out loud.

Here's a couple of shots of the stands on my RPU. You can't see them really good but they are made from A model headlight bars.

BWAHAHAHA!!! You guys are hilarious! Never a dull moment around here...

I've decided the car doesn't need lights. They're way over-rated anyway.

Looks like you'd have room between the rad. and the grill shell to build a support, then mount the lights to the grill shell? Just a thought, then there'd be NO long, vibrating, shaking mount way back to that frame...

I saw a bloke that had mounted his headlight on some brackets that were mounted to the backingplates. Dont know how it would be in the dark with vibrations and stuff, but it looked pretty cool when he turned the wheel and the lights followed.

  13. HEADLITES ARE SO OVERRATED

I say attach them to the grill shell at the height you want spaced in /out soyou have no rub issues wth the tires

all supports are inside the grill shell even a cross brace ... as long as it does not hit the fan or is shaped to avoid the fan .removeable?
think combo fan shroud . overflow tank, light brace with belled holes for air flow
.. painted radiator color it will blend right in

shaped like a oxen yoke as it mounts behind the grill over the fan

adding a bit of the hood sides just behind the grill for the lite mounts may work too about four inchs at the bottom tapering to one inch accross the top
