hey, i would be mr. bionic eye... here's the deal with the taxes on it as far as the overhaulin goes... they gave us an appraised value the way the car was... and an appraised value on the car after it was done (well we'll say as "done" as it was gonna be for the show)... the taxes are on the difference between the two appraisals...

 

Yeah, I've seen that episode. Pretty wild transformation. I didn't really like the color of the green, though. It looked kind of flat to me.

 

Two words...

Kick Ass!

 

That suck's!!! Over here there is no tax on winnings, TV shows, Lotto etc..

I met chip foose and some guys that had been on his show at SEMA. One of the guys was telling me that a lot of the guys working on the TV cars are working for free to get the publicity. He told me that he shut his shop down, laid off his staff for a week and went on the show. Got less than minimum publicity and lost a fortune in $$$....got zero $$$$ from foose.......goes to show that it ain't what it appears to be........

So your trying to tell me that it's Chip Foose's fault that your aqauintance took a business gamble, agreed to work for free, chose to lay off his staff and shut his shop down (when he coulda kept his staff online and producing) and lost his ass?....and yet its someone elses fault...

whatever...sounds like your friend/aquaintance is a dumbass....publicity is one thing but its not a sure thing...seems your friend/aquantance could have made better business choices and not lost his ass...

As far a Foose, I like some of his stuff and some of it I dont.......this one I do

It belongs to a HAMBer. They have to sell it! I talked to her at the Long Beach Grand Prix,and she told me...Too bad!
