If you try you can fit into anything. Here's a shot of me and Tony in his 31/32/34 truck (kinda like Johnny Cash's Caddy). You can guess which ones me and which one is Tony. Notice the subtle chop and channel job. Somebody has shots of me from the p***enger side....not a pretty sight. Your good for about 5 minutes before something cramps or goes numb. BTW, his feet are pretty much on the pedals in this shot. You could say its a little tight. -Bigchief.

I'm 6'5" 250, and i don't fit into all kinds of stuff. In high school, I went to buy an Opel GT. I couldn't even get in it. Can't drive a S2000 with the top up, riding most sport bikes gives me killer cramps, and my knuckles drag on the ground when I ride in (can't drive 'em) British sports cars. I can stuff myself into most cars with automatics, though.
One leg at a time, slowly and carefully. You wear it rather than ride in it. In that pic I was 6'2 and all of 320 at the time.....breathing was a challenge and nobody was allowed to make me laugh....if I sneezed the truck would explode.

Six foot 210 lbs solid muscle beach guy . Thats why my "30 ford A" is not channed, no cage . Got stuck inside my buddies chaneled full caged "30A" with 5 inch chop. He is 5'8" 150 lbs still laughing about it ! I kicked some sand in his face.

I'm 5'10" but thin... I'll have to see if I am comfortable in a channeled plymouth coupe... don't think it'll be a problem though... and if it is then oh well...
I'm 6'3" 195 and it's a little tight in the T coupe with 5" chop. I still love it! Hot roddin isn't about bein comfortable, it's about lookin cool and goin fast. At least in my opinion!
funny stuff, Mike (lost angel) came by in the truck and I squeezed into the drivers seat. It took 5 minutes to get my feet inside the cab and around that steering column then about 20 minutes to roll out of it...lol That's a tight freaking little truck !
I'm 6'3"/170lbs and one day I was getting gas. As I was sitting in it getting ready to leave, this old lady walked over, looked at me and the t and said I looked like Herman Munster in that car. At first, I was a little pissed, but after I thought about, I kinda felt honored.
Well I think Pops has all you big guys beat. He's only about 5'10" but weighs a good 330lbs, maybe more nowadays. He can't drive his 60 'bird anymore because the wheel rubs his belly so much it won't return to center after turning a corner. I just got a scissor truck running for him then took one look at the distance from the wheel to the seat, looked at him and said you're never gonna fit. Poor guy, the world just doesn't fit him anymore. Joe
I'm big. too fat, but I like beer. I fit not too bad into my truck and Merc, but I used to have an old Mini Cooper. It had the extensions to move the seat back 4" or so. Still needed a can opener to get out. My buddies used to joke about me wearing the thing, not driving it.........Tried a model A sport coupe on for size once and didn't fair much better.
Im 6'10" and im building a 32 chevy pickup with a 4" chop and a 6" channel. I fit in it fine, just gotta figure out how to get in and out gracefully without crawling on my hands and knees.
My brother is 5' 6". We got in a yelling fight once while I was driving with the seat all the way up in my old Dodge. Let's just say hard braking + head + dashboard = I win the argument!
I lost 70lbs about 6 years ago..diabeties. Which is great cause the old Jag has limited space. I will never gain the weight back..love drivin' it too much.. I'm under 6'..which is close to the comfortable limit.. Have friends over 6'..that rode in it..looked like Shriners were in town..
6" 4" here at 220lbs....not huge mind you but I strap the multiple guns and vests and crud on I gain about 35 lbs....I can pretty much shoe horn myself into anything but did have to drop the seat some in my 49 AD...that said my dept has been trying to give me a new 2009 impala police car....I've avoided it thus far....with the cage in it, the computers, radars, long guns etc its ugly....I gotta strap the car on instead of get into it....
What this thread needs is a bucket full of irony. Before I had my accident I was a poor white trash Rock'n'roll guitar picker without a cent to my name. So I tinkered with Brit motorcycles and a little red Triumph convertible, all the time wishing I could afford to bring over a '63 T-bird, ya know, with the rear seat canopy an' all to flake the **** out of. Fast forward a little while, and I've just got out of hospital, looking forward to spending the rest of my waking hours in the powered wheelchair from hell, which I like to call Ed 209 (after the robot police enforcer in Robocop). My compensation for the accident has left me a rich man (not bragging), and I'm over at my best friends auto shop, talking cars when in rolls a PERFECT '63 T-bird, ya know, with the rear seat canopy an' all, for a service. Guy who owns it climbs out and, says 'I'm selling her for £15 grand so I can buy a Harley'. I could have given him a cheque there and then without even blinking (not bragging), and the damn thing is about as much use to me now as a red flag to a chicken, 'cos there ain't NO WAY Ed 209 and me are getting in a T-bird. On the plus side, it did demonstrate to me how much I NEEDED a cool car, and it's partly responsible for me getting my '54 F100 Panel 'The Kripple Kart' which has changed my life, and comes second only to my family. The moral of this story is; do it today, 'cos you may fall off a ladder tomorrow! Paul.
I decided I deserved an exotic car a few years back Went to an auto show and shoehorned my 6' + 240 lb body into a 308 GTB (think Magnum PI). Two salesmen had to lift me out as there was no way I could get out by myself! Ended up with a DeLorean. Stretched my 29 CCPU 6-1/2" to make it a comfortable driver

I love the fact that I probably could fit in anything.. 5'10"x165# as far as being comfortable on a long run in a heavily channelled and chopped car, I dont think i'd like to be driving around with my knees stuffed in my ears.
Well at 5'9 and 205# height and weight are not a problem, my size 14 feet are the challenge. I have to try every car on to see if I can get my built-on skies to work the peddals. When I went Formula Ford racing in SCCA most formula cars I could not even get my feet in the footwells ( expecially the Brittish made one ) ended up with a American made Citation. Even modern street cars can be a challenge.
