Bob K has my favorite shop. If you haven't seen the telephone booth though you haven't seen the half of it. Glad to hear the hip is doing well Bob!

Seems like the guy is really into the hobby. Some of us dont work on dirt floors in rickety garages. Some of us actually worked hard enough to build a nice place to enjoy our hot rods. I see nothing wrong with that. Are we that shallow to put down a fellow rodder?

 

i didn't see anyone putting bob k down .............. and i don't think anyone would be dumb enough to do it.

 

Yes, we are very shallow people. Bob must be very ashamed of us. Not !!!

I think that you are taking this thread in the wrong way. In all of the comments posted here there is only one that could be even remotely be taken as a put down and that one has a smilie behind it so I am assuming that it is in jest.

All of the rest of the posters on this thread, I am proud to say are very good friends of mine and we love to get in each others face every now and then.

I am not in any way offended by any of the comments so far. I would love to have the chance to count you among my friends. I hope that we get to say hello to each other some place some day.

Oh yeah it does Gregg but seeing as it ain't HAMB friendly I never talk about it or post about it. I bought that vette new in 1974 and have over 200k on it. I just put a R & P power steering kit on it and the next mod is going to be a 6 spd.

I have driven by it many times on the way to snowmobile the Northwoods at Threelakes. Usually though it is at 12 midnight. Do you nap then? I always thought is was very classy.

Yeah, any of you guys, (and gals) get a chance to stop at Bob's, he's got a fantastic shop, and home. And yeah the phone booth is great. He always has cold brew on hand, and he and his wife are just the greatest people and hosts. If you perchance run into them during their/your travels, spend some time w/them. They're what the HAMB is all about...............

 

I will have to stop by next time I am back in WI.

 

The cheap, old SOB never offered me, or my buddy Tracy, a beer when we were there...

BTW... Tracy is a muscle car/STREET rod guy... brought him along on a whin... he was blown away with the digs and all the old crap Bob has laying around. He may even come over to our side soon...
