Just joined to get some help with my 57 Chevy. What I do know....There is no do***entation of a 4dr being a Utility Sedan! The person I bought it from was going to part it out, but noticed it seemed a little strange. That is where I came into the picture. Not looking for a 4dr or a 150, I took on the challenge. So, to be short, Can anyone decode my Cowl Tag? click for larger image Style: 57 - 1219 Body No: K 4460 Trim: "2226XC..............B" Paint: ACC.: Check out the Trim: "2226XC...........B" big space before the "B" A blank Paint Code! The care is in original condition with two-tone paint Highland Green/Ivory; not a listed option! Appears to have no back seat, "4dr Utility Sedan?" vinyl on rear wheel humps & no upper back seat retainers. Car is rough but original. Anyone with 2dr pics with and without the cargo shelf? The car has exterior chrome door guards; not something you would see on a low buck 150. Another option that a person would not see on a 150 is a deluxe heater. It is my goal to put this back to original, so need help on building the back seat cargo area. Thanks for any help at all. BUDDii

Chevy, as well as many automakers, produced several one of a kind cars. These cars are not do***ented. Special ordered from the factory; GM managers, companies or people with money. I know, my grandpa ordered several cool GMs in his day; all were 4drs. He never wanted to give up his performance because he needed 4drs. What I am really looking for is someone with a Utility Sedan that has pics and or specs of the cargo area; before the mat and plywood are down. Here are some pics of what I have.... Close examination of the car shows that paint is original (few repairs) but the top was painted white and then the highland green was put over it. Here is what I hope it looks like some day! So, if you have a 55, 56 or 57 150 Utility Sedan, please help! BUDDii
