Here is Patty Wagon naked waiting for a new front end. I am having a hard time getting a piece of 2 in. DOM .120 wall tubing for the axle. I can order 20 ft. but I only need 52 in. Also I threw in a picture of her time when she had her clothes on. Just so Toymaker would know it wasn't bogus.:D Roy

Hey Roy I have a tube drop axle that the king pin bosses are screwed up on. If you need it let me know and bring your car out west and show us:D

Found a piece of chrome moly for the axle. Anyone have some wire wheels they want to sell? I found some on the net but they were new and way out of my price range. I would like to get rid of as much weight up front as possible. I really like Toymaker's front end it looks light. I found a picture of the Bean Bandits flathead powered rail circa 1955 with motorcycle wheels on the front. Joaquin Arnett was a wizard at getting the most out of a flathead with the least amount of money. There wasn't ever anything on the car that they didn't build themselves.:)Roy

You know Roy, Another wizard on flatheads was John Bradley.. Haven't seen him in a couple of years.( he has to be well over 80 now) His flatheads had pipes coming out of everywhere, And sounded mucho different..But hauled Ass...Wish I had one of his motors......Dick

Here is a picture of the Bean Bandits car. I watched John drive Gene's Brake Shop flathead at Colton a lot. That car hit 150 mph a couple of times was always in the 140's. John was the only flathead man I ever saw make 4 exhaust pipes on a flathead. He had a pipe on all sides of the engine. He had a twin engine flathead also, although the Brissette bros. were the first I ever saw with twin flatheads. Flatheads were a terror in the 50's.:)

I built a .120 DOM tube axle for my '33 Willys coupe and I bent it on the street, probably going over some rough railroad tracks. You may want to use .250 wall, which is what I ended up with.

I did a little research on the tubing I have. It is seamless chromemoly and it takes over 45,000 lbs to bend it. So I feel it will do the job. I don't think the frame can take anywhere near that kind of pressure. I am waiting to hear back from from someone on the wire wheels. Also Mr. Mac if you are lurking about contact me.:) Roy

I was going to scavenge the spindles and tie rod off of it. But I would sell it as a unit if I can get enough out of it to buy those parts.:) Roy

Just make sure you give 3wlarry the first shot at it. He always told me if I swapped out that front end he wanted first crack at it.

Mr. Mac said he told Larry about it and gave him my phone number. I'm going to see if I can sell it on e-bay. I have some parts from my 58 Chev that I want to sell also. :) Roy
