I honestly have to say that I am totally surprised that anyone actually knows any of the new Go-Go's songs.

You guys shoulda seen what I started with! It was a favor for a good friend here on the HAMB...he wants to keep the project under his hat for now...he'll unveil his chosen direction when the time is right, I'm sure! (Wish I woulda saved the "before" pic!!! ) Yes, I know all the Go-Gos songs...and the songs done by the solo projects of all five members in between reunions! I don't know why exactly...but "A Vision Of Nowness" was running through my head while I worked that photo!! I'm weird! -Your resident GoGologist!
I worked spotlight on one last year at a kiddie show and the drummer freaked out on stage and went on a drunken tirade berating the video guy for not getting her mug on the screen enough, all over the mic, totally live, it was hilarious.

There is a prominent HAMBer that used to date the b*** player for the Go Go's. I am not going to say who it is, but we went and hung out with him at their Hollywood Bowl show a couple of years ago with the B-52s and Psychidellic Furs. The whole audience was full of 40-somethings drinking wine out of plastic cups. It was a really wierd night.
I probably met you guys at that show. That high profile HAMBER was fun to hang out with, as well as his skateboarding friend.
Kathy Valentine (b*** player for the Go-Gos) is from Austin, Texas and she's a car nut. Had a 58 or 59 Ford a while back, and a pretty sweet silver Rivi. She was a guitarist who fell into playing b*** because that's what the Go-Gos needed at the time. Played around Austin in a band called the Textones before the Go-Gos, and formed a band called The Delphines after. Very down-to-earth and cool car chick! (And yes, Jay...that's Belinda in the pink!!)
Okay...not feeling too hot this evening, but I managed to knock the fenders off of the Go-Gos Coupe! (Ha Ha...Henceforth shall it ever be known!!! ) Keep in mind...it's based on a Dodge, not a Ford...so it looks a bit odd to some eyes! (That, and MY Goofy Touches don't help!! )
Wow. And I thought I was aging ungracefully... She was sooooo hot... I guess she still could be, maybe it was just a bad photo... I ain't that hot either though, I guess... Nice Dodge... needs something other than primer for a color though. May I suggest copper? Jay
