I am excited to be on the board and possibly meet some guys into rods in Iowa. Recently moved from California and the car scene is a bit more incognito here. But still here! I have been building IH Scouts for a living for the past 10 years. Been wanting an old project for a long time and finally found the one! Getting ready to start a build...gaining a ton of insight from just reading and soaking in as much as I can from the board... thanks for all the good tech and culture. Found this 38 International D 2 in iowa... it had been sitting in the woods for 50 years!!

Welcome to the HAMB. Check out the museum in Coralville and keep tabs of the Spaulding being recreated for the Iowa Museum of Transportation in Grinnell. Iowa has a long tradition of car building. Check out Iowa's Cars by Bill Jepsen and Great Cars of the Great Plains by Curt McConnell.
