So I found this wheel..15x3..Just the one, unfortunately. The guy said it was for a "dunebuggy".It looks like it could be homemade, but it has some stamped lettring inside, that I dont recognize..Havent had it long enough to compare it to my Early Ford spindles,or measure anything, but Im wondering if anyone has any info? Or,another one??!!!

  2. Looks like a sand rail wheel, or a chopper wheel; they used a similar wheel in the late 60s early 70s on bikes, I forget what they were called.

Yeah, after doing some research,I found they are commonly used on sandrails, and use VW spindles.$10 well spent!

I don't know a whole lot bout Harley's but a buddy of mine just bought a set of wheels (2) for a chopper he was building and these look very similar to the ones he got. I think they resemble Invader wheels for Harley but like I said I could be wrong. -Drew

The hub is too big to be a motorcycle, it's VW, we used to have several spares for Glamis.

As for Invader, look at the welds, even if the hub was for a bike, Invader never put out anything that sloppy.
