So I'm watching CL tonight and a see a listing pop up for "1929 Ford Rag-Top Roadster Needs TLC $3,995" I could not p*** it up!!
I go pick it up tomorrow. She's taken care of and the listing was only up for about 15 minutes so I'm good. I was the first call she got since the listing was only up for about 30 seconds before I dialed. It was only 10 minutes from my house!!

Nice to know craigs list has more than Questionable people. I think thats like sinking a hole in one at the masters.
I've seen guy's who have gotten deals like this on Craigs List. Got to be on there at the right time, and having the car ten minutes from your house, it's like winning the lottery.
Don't get too jealous. The car has a good bit of rust in the body and lower doors. About what you'd find if it was sitting in a field for 20 years. She says her husband bought a bunch of new parts for it that she will get out of the garage tomorrow when I come pick it up. I have no idea what they are, but it's still a bonus. I'll take more pictures tomorrow.

You can get some great deals on craigslist if you have the patience to check it on a regular basis. Nice score!
I know these great deals come up now and then. But when I relate them to others, they think you are making up a story. Not as good as yours, but I picked up my 1955 Olds Holiday hardtop with less than 100K on it with a continental kit and running good for $900. They are out there.................... Way to go!
