I was wanting to know the major differences between the 00 and 0 brushes. Which is best for just plain 'o pinstrippin or someone just getting started?

the larger the number the fatter the line. 0 is fatter than 00 and so on. I have been practicing for 2 years and still ****. I found it easier to start with a number 2 or 1 but that is just me. The main thing is getting the paint the right feel. Not too thin not too thick to pull the lines.

A 0 is just a little bigger than a 00.Most people wouldn't notice the difference.

Larger brushes are easier to use,but beginners like to do real thin lines,
which would be frustrating with a big brush.

You can use a smaller brush to make a wider line by just pressing harder.
It is harder to make a thinner line with a big brush.

    I use a 000 Mack Series 10 for everything.
They are just a couple bucks more than the more common Series 20,but much more forgiving.
