    Thanks for this posting.

    As a kid in the 50's, I drooled over magazines with photos like these.

    How many of you remember when the hot rod magazine was small enough to fit in your back pocket ?

    Or the cartoons with "Speedy McGirk" ?

    The Flyers board is so cool,and really focused,on an earlier traditional period.:D

    They were for Pontiacs and others around 1949-54 with the flathead six .The battery sits right beside the engine,but look at all the yuk yuks getting their jollys in the background...:D:D The driver looks like your typical pimply kid with too much need for speed. Where is he now?

    That chopped 37 with the Harley in along side is the FIRST chopped 37-8 I have ever seen that had a good liking chop, Damn nice....... I want my 38 back now!
