The windshield is layed back more on the 34. The 34 also has wing windows. For a definitive answer post a pick of the dash.

  5. Posting a pic helps wonders. Right now, I'm guessing it's actually a '56 Studebaker four-door.

Gentlemen , I do believe that this is the prototype Pacer. It was way beyond its time, Look how the heyway flows through winshield down to the skirted bung opening. This is history here.

I don't know about any differences in the A-pillar slant. Pretty sure they're the same. If the dash is in it, that will tell it. 33's inst. cluster is centered to the car as are previous years. 34, though an identical body has the instruments centered to the driver for the first time.

    sorry guys,
i didnt know this was a comedy forum.
hi my name is jason. im a car junkie. haha. i will put up some pics as soon as i get my camera fixed. i thought i might get some verbal id. anyways, the car is a rolling chassis, prostreet. looks like original frame, but backhalved with cheesy four link. the body is bare, no dash inside, authough i did get one with the car. the top has been chopped, not too bad of a job either. the doors are hung and i got a pretty beat up decklid. with it came a 392 hemi, lots of hot heads parts and a 6-71 blower. i think it will make a great rat rod. the guy that had it passed away and his wife didnt know anything about it. so i have no title or anything. would like to verify something so i can get a registration for it.
    thanks for the help,
    jason pittman

Not really comedy per say. But I think I can speak for everyone when I say thanks for the compliment. That was nice of you. :)

Good intro and I can help you with differences on 33/34. A pillar slant? I am with Rosster on this one. Subtle but telling on small changes but most everything major was same.

If you just bought a pile of parts you'll like it here. Just give it and yourself a chance. And put on some skin thickening lotion or spray on tuff skin that seems to help as well it can get ugly in here.

I just "stored' my 34 coupe due to well...go listen to Sam Kineson Wildthing you'll get the jist.

And your lucky I or someone esle didn't go Ray Charles on your ass! LOL.

And what Ghost just said. Never, ever use the "r" word unless you like spankings and being called Sally.

It must be a 34, as the 33s didn't come with a hemi. Glad to be of help.

Here you go. Looks like a 1934 model. Dash should have all gauge cluster onleft drivers side instead of the middle of dash.

Looks like about a 4" chop on that one like mine.

I hope to hell you already have a deck lid for it. Otherwise you are looking for a holy grail. Plastic is available however, and you can make a steel one if you are somewhat handy.

Panels from other makes can be shall we say massged to fit for door skins and other panels. Some steel parts are re-popped as well.

i have a deck lid. not too rusty but it has a big dent in it. i also have a grill shell which i forgot to take pics of. it is fiberglass though. this would be so much easier if the guy who started this project was alive.
