Kris..... I spoke to Rick in detail about his truck years back.....It played a Huge influence on what I am doing with my truck.I have notes from our conversation somewhere around here.....The build up in Street Rodder was very good....
Rick is a super nice fella.. and his inspiration comes from his dad's old truck.

You should see his 427 flip front end healy!
I believe the seats a 48 Thames panel seats....and Rick is over 6 feet.
I will try to dig some info for you

Anyone have pics of this when it had red 16" '48 Ford wheels and skinny bias plies?

Like it a lot now, even more with the old setup! Finally got to chat it up a bit with Rick at last years GNRS, Norwell's right, he's a super cool guy. Had a t-shirt on this time, ha!

I have the March '95 Street Rodder in front of me and it says that it is a 6" chop.

I was thinking it was a 6" chop but the windsheild is still a good size?

I know this is an ancient post but does anyone have the build article on it from the street rodder magazine ?, I have always loved this little truck

  15. I second that. That issue came in the brief time I was not buying magazines.
