buick clock

    does anyone know how or what the dash clock works off of in a buick roadmaster?

  6. it does run off 6 volts. I believe it's a 6 volt winder on a standard clock

    that was my answer.....6 volts..there is 2 wires going to the clock,,,,one for light...one for clock works

    so do i just set the dial at the time and wind the post up?

    there is a cover on the back of the clock thatu can move it over t the "f or to the "s"
    i set the time and tried to wind itccw and cw u could here it tick a couple a times then it stops, the light works on the clock

    Fast and slow... You adjust it so the clock keeps the right time.

    anybody want to try and help me out w/ setting the time? do u actually wind it up?

    For best results, take that clock out and get your local watchmaker to clean it for you and test it. He can set it for F or S and you just reinstall it and know what time it is as long as the battery and mainspring last.
