$12 HOOD BLISTERS to hide your HEMI

    just a quicky tech here that my buddy Dan wanted to share with all of you... i think i need to get him educated on how to post pics and what not but i think he just enjoys torturing me by making me do his typing for him. :D


    so you want hood blisters but can't make em and don't want to spend the money on the pre-made ones. that was Dan's dilemma so he started searching Ebay for motorcycle gas tanks and within a few minutes had scored this Yamaha tank for 12 BUCKS!
    he got it home, did the appropriate measuring, cut off the sides and welded them into his smooth hood sides... and just like that you have this:

  28. Just be sure the tank sides have a symmetrical teardrop shape. Also that the left matches the right...not always the case.
