...got an email from Jason at The Hot Rod Garage with these pics of Steve's new AMBR contender..."Double Trouble". He wanted you all to see it first.

You've got to see this thing in the flesh to appreciate the 1000'$ of hour$ inve$ted...

All aluminum blown Ardun, see thru plexi dash and firewall, gold leaf, pinstriping by Ronnie Meyers(yes, he's still alive ;)), quickchange, Brookville body, my spare front undropped big beam axle off my coupe, outrageous threads! Candy paint by Jason.

Everything is handmade and polished to perfection...art.

Our own Jeem did the artwork.

They wanted a Show/Drag Rod of the 60's...it works....awesome car.

Pretty Cool! I really like the Plexi gl*** treatment for the firewall. I am interested to see how that interior ties in with the Spartan race look of the rest of the car. None the less, I think this is one I would like to see......blowing it's tires off on the street!

WOW WOW WOW, I remember seeing that drag tank and Jeem's drawing in R&C and the real deal is even better. I'd love to see more interior shots. That thing is KILLER!

Plexigl*** for a firewall? That won't stop much of a fire. :D

But, man, that thing is crazy and bit over the top and outside the box. I would be afraid to even drive that around and possibly scratch something.

Thanks for the first peak pics. I'll have to check it out more at the show.

Absolutely over the top... I typically don't like cars that lack restraint. I like this one... Those guys do such great work.

Jeems artistic rendering in the latest Rod & Custom really caught my eye.
I can't wait to see this car in the flesh! ...and I can only imagine what it would sound like. If anyone ever has video of it running, please, please post it on here!

Thanks for the photos and details, Larry.

jim is great.he's currently ***isting my uncle monty with his 48 ford coupe .last time i talked to them it was pushing 270 hp to the wheels with a little flatty.they do quality work in sand springs for sure.

  19. Stiffy anyone............!

  20. I hope they are planning on mounting the car on a revolving slot machine, a waterslide, or some other kind of dumb themed monstrosity. If not, it won't have a chance of winning the AMBR. D.

Holy WTF is that thing beautiful. I love the whole package, the Ardun with the scoop sticking out of the hood, the layed back windshield and the plexigl*** is cool too. It's got a clutch and front disks I want to know how they did that?? I think the only thing I'm not crazy about is the artwork on the grill insert, it took me a minute to figure out it was a double barrell shotgun, it's a little busy out front with the moon tank, which I would have liked to see polished, not painted. But hey that's just my usless opinion. Killer car, those guys should be proud of this one! I want to see more of this badboy. Thanks for the peek Larry!

that car is just stunning...it would have sounded like a disaster if someone described it to you..... but everything about it works just perfectly. It's a proper AMBR car.
    well done men!
