The first part to a problem is admitting that you have one!

 

I'll be around somewhere w/ the car. I'm now on stand-by for the indoors on Thursday. Should be nice waiting around all day to see if there's any no-shows. Already Pre registered for the Drive-in just in case I don't get inside.
You people will be easy to spot. All young, dressed in black, sungl***es, tatoos- just a damn bunch of hooligans.
Me? I'll be the old white headed fart walking around looking like I don't fit in.

Oh- and to add to the drama? Front snout of crank is chipped off as of last night. Pulled balancer & the piece came out with it. No way am I trusting that w/ a 2" gimbal drive belt. Crank swap this weekend. Aren't last minute thrashes fun?

 

Will be there Wednesday putting my Deuce in the Suede Palace. Also will be helping set up the Larry Shinoda "Chopstick Special" Coupe. And another very cool display...wink....that will remane un-named at this time.

Sue and I are leaving Mesa Fri Morn, should be there for the Sat M&G, driving the 78 GMC MH and staying across from the Fairplex. Leaving the Hot Rods home this time , 2 or 3 of us are gonna drive em to the L S Round up Apr. See you all Sat. Dave and Sue

 

No one has said much regarding Bob's Big Boy in Burbank on Friday evening so I'll just mention it here. There is a group of us that will be there in the evening for their Cruz Nite, approx 6pm-ish for dinner and mingling. We plan on then heading over to Old Crow for their open house. Kinda like last year. I had a blast, even with the soggy weather. Anyone else plan on going?

Just learned that two of us from Indiana will be flying out on Thursday, staying till Sunday morning. Not sure where we are staying, we have rooms just don't know where yet. Hope to make it to the "Meet & Greets". Seems like I usually miss them at the other events.

 

I will be at the show all weekend starting probably Thursday. I will definitely try to make it over to the meet and greet!

 

Unless you get another "gray beard" for the Friday photo, i'll be there.

Bump for the 2009 Meet and Greet

 

Got the plane thing handled.......wouldn`t mind going over to Bobby Greens on Friday night...can I scrounge a ride in one of the HAMB rental car fleet?...That is if I have sufficiently recovered from the Sheraton Shambles Thursday Nite.....

 

I'm flying out Wed for a week, I'll be set up in the Suede Palace. I'll be striping cars before and after the show if anyone doesnt have anything against a one arm bandit striping there car, hahahaha. Come say hi at least! cheers
