Here are a couple pictures of my project in progress. I call it "Dead Bent!" For the few that have been keeping tabs of my build the last pictures I posted the car was painted with oxide red primer.

This is what it looked like about 6 months ago.

This is what it looks like now. So far.....I chopped up a 1950 Ford Shoebox dash and installed it. Installed my custom radiator and electric fan. Chopped a 32 grille and made an insert for it. Redid the cowl steering similar to what DREADMAN did with the mopar box. New wheels and tires. Made a water crossover. Installed my AQUABIRD steering wheel, but for some reason I must have removed it in the pictures. I was going to use a 1950 Lincoln but decided to go a different route. Made a driveshaft. Made the supports for the floors, but still needs sheetmetal. And mounted the gas tank. Still got a long way to go. But everyday I get closer and closer.

Dig the ride. It is like eating an elephant one bite at a time. What size wheel/tire combo are you running? Did you start with flat steel for the grill insert, or did you buy it pre-drilled? It looks killer!

Are the chalk outlines for the paint layout or for striping? Looks nice so far. What color are you going with?

Im using Firestone 7.50x16 in back and 6.00x16 in front.

Heres how I made the grille insert. I purchased it with the holes already made. Dont forget to vote. haha

The chalk outlines were made by my little cousin who I let draw on the car since it hasnt been painted yet. But i gotta admit the lines do add a little something. I haven't decided on a final color but I was thinking of a gold metal flake or a red metalflake. Thanks

Big Thanks. I think they raised the prices of the tires again cause boy they were expensive.
