I found this old body in a fence row while I was out hunting. ( car hunting). I'm thinking it's a 35-36 Plymouth or Dodge, but not sure. It was getting dark so I didn't get a chance to really look it over good, but there is hardly any rust in the body. It has the dash and seat frame, package tray, deck lid. and nothing has hardly any rust. There's no frame under it. I'll go back and check it out further when it gets nice and cold again so the ground is frozen. Oh...and no bullet holes!

When did they go to the solid roof? This one had a cloth insert in it.

You need to find out about that thing, and get it home. I cant believe that thing is out there, as solid as it is.

Who cares right now what it is? If it's on open property, snag it. If there's a house around, I'd go ask 'em first, but that's just me.:)

I thought it looked like a Mopar. The first time I saw it was over twenty years ago...in the exact same place it is now, only it was sitting on an old broken down trailer. At the time I thought it was a 33 or 34, but now I see it doesn't have suicide doors. If you look at the pics, you can see someone set it on boards to keep it off the ground...or maybe the trailer is buried under it...Hah. I'm trying to track the owner down, but have an idea they probably don't want to get rid of it or it surely would have been gone in the last twenty something years. But then again, it's pretty well hidden in the trees. All the garnish moldings are there and the window regulators,

Good find. It's exciting to find one, whether you get it or not. I found one they wouldn't sell. It disappeared this summer. Probably s****ped when prices were up. It was gone bottom 8 inches, but would make good yard art or long term skill builder.

You know those important discussions you had as a kid, like, "If you could have any super power what would it be?"
Well the safe answer is always the ability to fly. However I had this same discussion at a party a few weeks ago. When my turn came to tell everyone what my "super power" would be, I told them the ability to find hidden cars and trucks. Sort of like x-ray vision or maybe a magnetic ability. But could you imagine how cool it would be to drive down the road and not only spot an old barn but be able to see right through the doors to the inside? Or better yet, have "Predator Vision", but instead of seeing heat signatures, old metal would glow an orange/red where everything else just looked blue and black. Yeah, this is what I think of on the long drive to work when I p*** long stretches of woods and old farms. Needless to say I got some funny looks and was told I should stop drinking, but **** them. You guys would get it.
Looks like you have a little of the super power. Nice find. Keep us posted.

Go ahead and try to find the owners, but don't be in a hurry to retrieve it as it's probably frozen solid to the ground. Try around May 1, Good luck and good find, Mike

Looks like someone tried to keep it from rusting, kinda looks like it's sitting up on some wood.
    Nice find

I think if I can get it, I'll just stash it away for awhile...INSIDE. And yes, it's sitting on wood and not frozen to the ground...I wiggled it.

Great find. You need to snag that baby and get it home. I dont think I could sleep at night knowing where that was and not owning it

WEll, actually they still shoot people here for grabbing somethiing that isn't theirs to grab, but I'm trying to find out who owns it. That is turning into a bigger hunt than finding the car. I think there are a lot of old cars like this still around if you know where to look...but it is amazingly solid for sitting out all those years. Without the fenders and grille though, I'm not sure what I could do with it and keep it looking right, kinda long in the rear for a fenderless car.

It looks like my 35 Dodge coupe. It's got to be 35 or 36 Dodge or Plymouth, which are essentially the same body.

Has anyone ever seen one of these made into a fenderless car?
