hello,I have been having trouble with coolant comoing out of my overflow with rad. temps no where near overheatingon a newly rebuilt 8BA.I was told to try running it and see where it levels off because some run 3-4 inches low.Mine is now down 4.5 inches(nearly below the radiator hoses).Anybody have any thoughts on this. This is getting frustrating.I have taken the heads off again and checked for cracks and it looks good. Thanks,Bill

As long as it aint overheating it'll be fine. I usually top the radiator off then it'll puke out whatever it don't want after the first run then it'll be fine. I had the same concerns on my first flathead & my old flathead builder friend told me not to worry about it.

this is ok.I dont add coollnt to mine as long as the core is covered.Long as your not overheating youll be fine. When filled to the top as the stock raditor holds a large volume of liquid anyway it needs a lot of room to expand. No where to go but out overflow.
