Carson tops and '51 Chevys

    Does anyone have an early 50's Chevy with a chopped Carson top, or any car with one for that matter. I have a '51 and I was just curious as too the cost of this procedure, and if anyone had photos. Thanks a lot.

    Last couple 51 Buicks cost about 3K for top only. Not including chop and windows...........OLDBEET

    Thanks for the posts...3K isn't too bad. I won't have to worry about the gl***(I have a gl*** guy that trades that for tattoos) and the roofs hacked off already. I like the look of a soft-topped car, nice and cl***ic. Keep the pics comin' if there are anymore.

    My Buddie in SF is helpin another buddy make one for his 53 chevy. I will ask him what it has costed so far and try to get some in progress pics.

    I built one for my old 40 Merc...cost was probably under 200 bucks for materials...upholstery was 1500 for both inside and out.
