A letter from John Buck ~ Grand National Roadster Show

The good folks a the Grand National Roadster Show are please to let you know
that we mailed out all of the move in p***es to everyone last night.

We are calling the guys that are in Northern CA and out of state right now
to let them know that because Monday is a holiday they will get them until
Tuesday.

If they do not receive them in time, NO WORRIES! Just show up at the gate
with ID and we will have a check in list of those who are registered.

Barb got hers for the new 32 on Saturday. Whats the time for the "move-in" on the suede palace Thursday?? It seems confusing??

It says that move-in is until 4:00. Are they kicking us out at 4:00 or do we have longer to setup as long as we're in by 4:00?

 

Does that mean evening too? I read on here somewhere set up was only until 4...

 

For the first time we are allowing cars & vendors in early - on Wednesday evening from 6:00 p.m. til 8:00 p.m.



THURSDAY MOVE IN: 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Kirk, once you are in you do indeed have time to clean up your cars and/or set up your vendor spaces.

Guys, this gives you two different days to get to the fairplex and set up.

Again, there's a chance that northern California and out of state people won't receive their credentials in time. Bring what you have along with proper identification, we'll get it figured out at the gate,and get you brought in to the grounds as quickly as possible.

If any Suede cars/people are running a little late,and you find the regular show entrance closed don't panic, find gate 1 and have security radio me - we'll get you in.

Just don't show up at 10:00 at night and expect service - we'll all be miles up the road - eatin at Dennys and havin an "All American Grand Slam".

I know that in 2007 when I was registered in the Suede Palace ... I had already left South Carolina on Thursday ... 1 week before move in ... and I had my papers already in hand.

You guys are running behind this year

Man, I'm slow. It just occurred to me, this is all about the Suede Palace. What about the folks that haven't received their move in info for the other buildings? I've got friends from a few different shops that are sweating it, as they are leaving tomorrow!
