Thanks for the most incredible weekend I have experienced!

The Garage Crawl was fun for me, I hope the attendees enjoyed it.

The most incredulous bunch of folks with some cool cars showed up for the Burgers and Dogs at MY Place(TM) Friday evening.

We even got to use the garage for wrenching and hanging out.

My neighbors were entertained and had a very real pleasure of seeing the cars the HAMB is about. I have very good neighbors
    .
I sincerely wish each and every one could have been here

I did not make the WZJUNK route 66 cruise, but had reports that it was enjoyeed by all who took part in it.

The drags were an experience with out equal.
As Levi's Classic showed, there were very respectable times turned for street driven cars.
Drive 'em to the track, Race 'em and drive them home. Even if home is a 13 hour drive.

There was a representative from a New Zealand magazine at the drags. He took photos of several cars to be included in the magazine. I apologise for not learning the name of his publication.
HRLC talked with him and had him to sign the HAMB DRAGS board. I feel sure she may have the title for the mag.

My house guests have been on the trip home about a couple hours, now, and are already missed.
Others are leaving this morning as well for all points of the states.

I wish for all a safe trip home.

Ryan, what is the date for the next years Drags?

  2. Jim, I wish I would have made the cookout, but there's "always next year." [IMG] I still can't believe the 62 has a new home. I like the sedan/vicky, but I was shocked to see it in it's place. It was good talking to you again and ketchin up.

    Take care,
    Rev. Jake Toocool

I had an absolute blast as well. It's already become my annual "if nothing else, at least this" trip of the year...haha. Great racing, excellent cars, and unbelievable weather. Totally perfect.

    I wish

    A) That I could be done with college so I don't have to rush the trip so I could take the time and do the cruise and everything else during the weekend.

    B) That I will actually have a cool car to take next year

    C) That next year, we'll have the fantastic weather again!

I'm sure everyone else will give their praises as well, so I just leave mine to what all I've stated above.

I should have included that HRLC took a group photo.
Atch and I am not in it.
We were out scouring the parts stores for a brake switch for "Clarence", we found one in Joplin.

Another highlight this year for me(maybe, not for the owners) was sharing my shop with Mike Atcherly(Steve [IMG]) and Ryan Cochran for minor repairs they wanted to make

Yes! That famous black 38 was in my drive.
